GasCert is a digital gas safety certificate app for UK Gas Safe engineers. It lets you create CP12 landlord gas safety records, breakdown and service records, warning notices and other gas forms directly on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
GasCert is designed around Gas Safe requirements and the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998. It prompts you for the same core information you would record on a paper CP12 and related forms. You remain responsible for making sure your work complies with the latest regulations and Gas Safe rules.
No. GasCert is a tool for registered engineers, not a replacement for Gas Safe registration. You must stay registered and follow Gas Safe procedures when issuing any gas safety certificate.
Yes. You can create and edit certificates while offline on site. An internet connection is only required for features that use online services, such as cloud sync or certain AI responses.
GasCert runs on iPhone, iPad and Mac. If you use the same Apple ID and enable iCloud sync, you can move between devices without losing your data.
Certificates are stored locally on your device. If you turn on iCloud, Apple will also keep an encrypted copy under your Apple ID so that certificates can sync between your devices. You control access to your Apple account.
Yes. GasCert produces clear, professional PDFs that can be emailed directly from your device, printed, or saved into your preferred cloud storage or job management system.
